Cowen Studios will be at Sun City Elementary on: Thursday, November 14 Participation is voluntary for this fun event. Please indicate to your student and their teacher if you want your student(s) to be photographed. If you want a sibling photo, please also tell your children’s teachers and/or fill out the form provided by the school. Your child will be photographed on both backgrounds: the Christmas doors without Santa and the Toy Shop with Santa, unless otherwise indicated. Your student will receive a QR sheet just like our other events, so please check your student’s backpack the day of photos. Online proofs will be available approximately two weeks after the session. Please place orders immediately to ensure Christmas delivery. Please dress your child in holiday themed attire. Don’t forget about our great digital downloads for creating holiday cards and sharing online. Our Sun City Stars sure know how to shine! ✨ These students chose to spend their hard-earned PBIS points on an epic Glow Party, complete with light-up glasses, glow sticks, and dancing under the party lights. It was a day full of fun, laughter, and glowing smiles. Great job, Stars—you earned it!

All Bossier Schools and Centers will be closed on Tuesday, November 5 for Election Day.

The weekend is a great time to share your child's personal fundraising link with family and friends!! Any student who raises $25 will receive a souvenir bracelet and will be able to participate in the Turkey Trot Obstacle Course! Check out some photos of our Stars running through the Obstacle Course Bubble Blasting Tunnel and the Inflatable Maze during last year's event! We are excited to share that two NEW events have been added to the Obstacle Course this year: The foggy Amazon Jungle Tunnel and the Kids Car Wash Tunnel! Sun City Elementary will present a special program on Monday, Nov. 11th to honor our veterans. We hope to see all our veterans on at the Veterans Day Assemblies.

Thursday we will say, "Save the day...Don't do drugs!" Students can dress in their favorite Superhero themed/colored shirt with uniform bottoms. No masks please.

Wednesday students will "LEI off drugs" and can dress in their favorite Hawaiian themed/colored top with uniform bottoms. Accessories welcome!

Tuesday we will "Deck Out" because we "Don't Do Drugs!" Students can dress up in their favorite decade.
