Sun City Elementary students are showing how small acts of kindness can make a big difference! Through the Coins for Kids campaign, our students are collecting spare change to support Shriners Hospitals for Children, an organization dedicated to providing life-changing medical care to children in need.
The fundraiser is a joint effort led by Sun City’s Military Club and Spanish Club, bringing students together to serve others and spread kindness throughout our school community.
Spare a Little Change. Change a Little Life.
Students, families, and staff are encouraged to search their backpacks, pockets, and piggy banks for spare coins. Every penny, nickel, and dime adds up to help children receive the care they need to grow strong and healthy.
Shriners Hospitals for Children provide specialized medical care regardless of a family’s ability to pay. By participating in this coin drive, Sun City Stars are helping support treatments, surgeries, and care that change children’s lives.
Sun City Stars in Action
Already, students have begun stopping by the collection bucket to drop off their donations. With smiles on their faces and coins in hand, our Stars are demonstrating that kindness and generosity are powerful.
Seeing students take the initiative to give back reminds us all that leadership and compassion can start at any age.
Join the Effort
The Coins for Kids collection will continue through March 20. We encourage families to participate by sending spare change with their child to school.
Together, we can show how Sun City Stars shine through kindness and help spark BIG miracles for children in need.
⭐ Every coin counts. Every act of kindness matters.
