Sun City Elementary Gears Up for Annual Turkey Trot Fundraiser
Sun City Elementary is kicking off its highly anticipated Turkey Trot event, a fun-filled fundraiser designed to get students moving while supporting school programs. This year’s Turkey Trot comes with an exciting lineup of incentives and activities that reward students for their fundraising efforts.
The event encourages students to collect donations, with each fundraising milestone unlocking new levels of participation and prizes.
Incentive Levels and Activities
$25 Collection: Obstacle Course and a Bracelet
$50 Collection: Obstacle Course, Bracelet, and Color Run
$75 Collection: Obstacle Course, Bracelet, Color Run, and Chalk Battle
$100 Collection: Obstacle Course, Bracelet, Color Run, and Chalk Battle, and Inflatable Sumo Soccer
$150 Collection: Obstacle Course, Bracelet, Color Run, and Chalk Battle, Inflatable Sumo Soccer, and Foam Party
$250 Collection: Obstacle Course, Bracelet, Color Run, and Chalk Battle, Inflatable Sumo Soccer, Foam Party, and Silly String the Principal
$300 Collection: Obstacle Course, Bracelet, Color Run, and Chalk Battle, Inflatable Sumo Soccer, Foam Party, Silly String the Principal, and Slime the Principal (12/5/25)

Top Collecting Homeroom in each grade level gets a Pizza Party with the Principal and the Homeroom Teachers gets a Free Planning Period.
Top Collector in the school gets a $200 Gift Card
Students participating in the Color Run will need to wear a plain white t-shirt with athletic bottoms. They should bring a beach towel from home. Students may bring a change of clothes as well if they choose.

All donations due by November 18th.
The Turkey Trot will take place on Thursday, November 20th, during students’ specials time. All funds raised will e most memorable yet.go directly toward enhancing school programs and activities.
