Second grade has been exploring how they shine in spelling through their Kids Excel reader, and today they put those skills to the test in their very own Spelling Bee! Students took turns using the teacher’s microphone to spell words they’ve been practicing. If they spelled a word incorrectly, the teacher rang a bell—but if they got it right, they advanced to the next round.
Every participant earned a Spelling Bee ribbon for their effort and enthusiasm. We’re so proud of our second graders! 💛
