The Sun City "LIghthouse Team" spent a weekend away at a Leadership Retreat, generously hosted by Mrs. DeLaune’s family, to plan for the upcoming school year. 🌅 During the retreat, our team received in-depth Leader in Me training from a national consultant to equip our teacher leaders to grow student leadership and strengthen a positive, confident culture at Sun City. 💡🌟 We also grew closer as a team, laughing, sharing meals, and enjoying time together. We’re so proud of this dedicated group for giving their time and energy to lay the foundation for a strong 2025–26 school year. Big things are coming and we’re ready to Lead the Way together! 💛

While most people kicked off summer with rest and relaxation, this amazing team of educators spent their first two days of break crafting the perfect master schedule for our students. 🗓️✏️ Over 15 hours, countless drafts, and mountains of paper later, they created a plan that prioritizes uninterrupted learning and maximizes time for teacher collaboration.
