Sun City Elementary School

Mrs. Angie Leal is the 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year for Sun City. Mrs. Leal started at Sun City in 2015 and has been an educator for 26 years. She has taught 3rd grade Math and Science, 3rd grade ELA and Social Studies, and ELA Response to Intervention K-3rd.

Mr. Alex Devine is Sun City's and Bossier Parish's New Teacher of the Year. He is a finalist for the Louisiana New Teacher of the Year. Mr. Devine attended Sun City when he was in elementary school.

Ms. Caroline Kirkpatrick joined Sun City as a paraprofessional in 2021. Her fellow staff members named her Outstanding Staff for 2023-2024.
